Thanks to the unfortunate closure of Bungle Bungles National Park, we are a day ahead of our original schedule, which means we now have enough time to cover the Great Ocean Road. We depart Panmure Campground bright and early, knowing the day ahead will be pretty jam-packed, and knowing we need to make it back to the city in time for dinner. As expected, it was a pretty fast-paced day, but we managed to make the following stops:- Bay of Islands
- Bay of Martyrs
- The Grotto, VIC (not the WA one!)
- London Bridge, VIC (not the UK one!)
- The Arch
- Lock Ard Gorge
- Thunder Cave
- Sherwood River
- 12 Apostles
- Cape Otway Lightstation
- Erskine Falls
It was a very quick tour of a fantastic section of coast, but we soon arrived in Melbourne in time for dinner and in desperate need of a drink!
We caught up with Ben, Rowena and Tash, our third and final Topdeck catch up for the trip.
It was great to see everyone, drink beers, play pool, and have somewhere to crash for the 2nd last night of our epic roadtrip!
